Look I can't recall who put that $10 prize up but it would of come under the Booby prize Section, not for the traditional last place that's too easy to get by selecting no hopers, last year it was for 13th place so who finished 13 this year? not you Pastor Bool I'm sorry to inform but none other than BH3's Gerhard Shoether, he should know his way around Spotlight as he had to fork out for a doona cover for me last year. - The Convener

It was the likeable. And it was for the US election result, which may not be known until 2024.
Not sure I can wait that long for my curtain rings

Ryan Vanderwert winner of the Macwollie's $50 for the highest winner points total for any race won with his selection in this years Melbourne Cup "Twilight Payment' Vanders left with me the option of getting $50 bucks worth of tattslotto tickets and share 50/50 or sponsor a dog looking for a home at the Greyhound Saftey Net Doveton Vic. Like last year with Paul Wheeler from the USA we are sponsoring another dog Dolly where for the $50 Dolly gets a coat and lead for when she finds a home. Scroll down link to find "Dolly". Thanks to Joan of Arc, your a good man and will not be burnt. - The Convener

You are talking to one of the biggest Mocks walking the planet Vanders, first dog owned @ 18 first winner @ 58, a 40 year drought until Gerhard Shoether felt sorry for me. Even the footy side the Saints are currently going through a 55 year drought. Dolly is assured of getting a coat and lead the rest are not if punting on a lotto win, plus Dolly reminds me of Zorro who we lost earlier in the year. You can share a ticket with STL's $100 from tassie he might bring the luck. BTW where's your DIAMOND! probably will go to a head of council meeting of Moderators. - Mockers Macwollie

See that's why you've had to wait 40yrs - you gotta cut loose, you're too cautious and when I saw Dolly's pic OMG I knew then exactly why George Adams got the Kaiber Pass !

STL and I are going to Greece with our winnings and apparently he's organised his lotto agent to be sitting between us on the plane skiing. Here's hoping that'll be a smooth shuffle. He too is thinking a little small cos she'll need to use both hands with my seat and he'll just look like the eunuch in the corner(tic).

Report: With the comp in a 3 week break the thread became a bastion for trash talk lead by no other than Malcolm Mr Wenty Smart's attack on The Convener and it kept us entertained whilst waiting for the inevitable crowning of Ryan Joan of Arc Vanderwert who by all accounts could of been suspended by G-Data for his questioning of a (in his words) "who's the bright spark" in reference to the moderator for removing the thread to down amongst the dead men in the Talk Section just before week 1. Two Internatinal players this year returning runner up Not The Paul Wheeler from USA and Ireland's Father Frank Walsh with his leprechaun hatted wearing greyhound dog taking out 3rd place. Your in luck Father the donator won a city race in Sydney tonight so he can now afford an upmarket pair of Rosary Beads for your prize. The only interest in the last day was the battle for the wooden spoon all I can say The Convener is relieved his alta ego "Macwollie" last years innaguaral winner of the whole comp got off the bottom in the last race of the season. All winners listed below and thanks for participating. I'm sure the late Bernard J Duffy would have appreciated your patronage. Till next season (back in Talk) Thanks - The Convener

Maybe Father Frank is busy writing Sunday's sermon. What does have me worried Gerhard is our BH3 greyhound bean counter "Tor" has offered up 100 of those beans Lola won for us for with her magnificent 3rd at Goulburn today (BTW did you get the $3.40 like Mockers MacW did) to give to Big Kev for his 2nd place. I know he wants it he just reposted the results sheet with no comment attached, talk about a farking subtle hint hey Big K. - Macwollie

No I played tris with her to run 2nd and 3 rd payed $20 so I think I may have gotten 4/1 for my money would have been better if she would have run her usual 2nd. Kev is subtle he does have a pup to feed lol.

Big Kev,
Looks like the only winner of the BJ Duffy Spring comp so far is "Dolly" (bless her) as she's scored a lead and a coat. Father Frank has left the parish and can't be found, G-Data has placed all 12 month memberships on hold pending the inquiry into Vanders "bright spark" comment and now you tell me you want a 1% share of a future Lola pup who our good mate Dr Huss told me he'd look after us down the track with his Blasted ABBA @ stud dog. - Macwollie

Yeah real easy. I took a deposit from a bloke who then changed his mind. I think he wants his deposit back.
He's gonna have to ring the TAB and ask them for it.
