A big congratulations to G.R.N.S.W for giving Lithgow race club $3 million to up grade their track so they can run 52 TAB meetings a year, I use to race my dogs there in the 2000s and was always a friendly place to race

Since the closure of Kennerson Park, GRNSW has been mulling over opportunities to best service participants in the wider region, ultimately committing to the Lithgow investment, in return for the Lithgow Greyhound Racing Club relinquishing ownership of the land.
Its understood the land is valued at around $3 million, comparable with the planned investment to completely rebuild the track including the latest safety and state of the art welfare measures as well as new facilities at the site.
