Im a bit like you Grant, very shy about my team the Rabbits, on paper thay have it all over the park but sometimes play like school kids with no obvious plan and play one out and just barge into them, they have a district weakness out wide and give up some easy tries there at times.
On the other hand, when they put it together they look unbeatable (Storm aside). LOL

Good luck to both sides and may the better team win, my thoughts has always been either the Storm or Roosters to be premiers but on their day, the Rabbits and/or Dragons could easily be holding the shield.

Take of the Blinkers Brownie! There is TWO other sides, SHARK'S & PANTHERS capable of beating anyone also. Panthers coming good at the right time! They are at the "Clock Tower" so to speak! Tezza

BTW Stop trying to lull Grant into believing that the Dragons have a chance. (No Widdop, No Win)

Ray Saturday will surely show that The Mighty Dragons are in it up to their armpits.....I know....

Souths will have to play a mistake free game.....Melbourne showed how to disassemble that....never seen Sam Burgess so isolated and make so many mistakes.....it destroyed their go forward and impetus....if your great 1/2 Reynolds is off the field you can't win

Like the meerkat says simples

Whoever wins hope they go on and take it out good luck

Jim, no mention of Widdup and De Bellin I notice (lol)

They mean as much if not more to the Dragons than Reynolds does to Souths...the only danger to the Rabbits is the Rabbits themselves, on their day they will win easily but unfortunately, they often have a shocker when it really matters, thats why the Dragons will be in this up to their ear tips.

Injuries again will play a part in the Sharks/Panthers game and I think that the Panthers could spring the upset in this game. My early tip was the Sharks but the fortunes may have reversed now.

Yes, may the best 2 teams WIN in both games and good luck to all, one thing that we do know, the referees influence is now almost out of play so whoever prevails in open play, wins the day.

Dragons chances have risen somewhat and the Rabbits fortunes have drifted south...fairdinkum, what is wrong with these bloody footballers, they cannot stay off the booze and keep out of trouble.
Sam Burgess and his reported behaviour is beyond juvenile, it is disgusting and typical of many of the boofheaded NRL players, worse for him, he is co-captain and should be expected to be an example, well I suppose he was, a total f#*kwit!
He might be a high profile player (worse stil) but if he is proven guilty, he should be stood down for the rest of the season, after whats happened, that might not be necessary as their season may end tonight...if I was a Dragon player, I would be politely requesting a picture of his UNOWOT at every opportunity.

Jim, they were most unlucky to lose and in fact were, IMHO, easily the better team on the night...wont matter a damn now though, neither would have been a chance against The Roosters next week on that performance coupled with the mounting injury toll.

This final series is more than a war of attrition, it is a case of the last man standing and the week off this year.will be like pennies from heaven!

Give the year a pass mark...no injuries earlier on was a godsend and wins just kept coming...Origin and injuries later took their toll and 3 wins in last 9 was atrocious...came good again with massive game v Broncos and only lost to Sths. by 1 point...well done Dragons...onward and upward for 2019...

Widdop missing and then Sims going off was massive...

Slater gets off, every winger will forever be shitting themselves waiting to be shoulder charged from the side...until they change the rules AGAIN...FFS...it's a rule NOW...TOO bad if it's the GF he misses...plenty before him have missed out due to indiscretions of the rules...

Off course he'll get of Grant (He's Billy)! And plays for the Storm.
Where's your sense of Theatre?
I remember John Lomax (Raider's) got 1 week and missed the Granny against the Bulldogs in 93 or 95, for hanging out his hand and making minimal contact to an opponents head. Had some carryover points which tipped him over. Disgraceful decision at the time. Any way we WON. Thank you Marty Bella! (And Mal knocking out Terry Lamb)

Cronk or not, I think that the Roosters are a special as their defence is near impregnable, a certainty if Cronk was in but not to be it seems.
SLATER, interesting he should remain suspended but, will weight of public sentiment prevail, hope not, as the rules are the rules.

Well the rules are made to be broken!

SLATER is exhonerated of an illegal shoulder charge, and been declared innocent because he had a hand raised?
Very interesting decison as now I can see every would be shoulder charge offender raising their hand at impact...personally, I disagree with this decision and find it very sentimental in its finding, IMHO.
However, I also believe that the shoulder charge should not be illegal unless it is performed in such a way as being a deliberately DANGEROUS tackle.
This decision, whichever way it went, was going to be very devisive and boarders on suggestions of favouritism, anyway, the decision is final and let the game begin!

Go the ROOSTERS!
