Ivan was unfortunately involved in a serious lure injury at 16mths old at IPSWICH that broke his leg and toe, shattered his knee along with torn muscles to both his calf and all the way up his inside back leg. Once back on the track it seriously affected his action and his ability to rail but still managed to break the T/R around the bigger track of MAITLAND. His 1st trial at IPSWICH b4 the injury was a slip of 16.37 (5.20 - 11.17), his brother GNARLEY BOY ran 16.34 (5.18-11.16) last week b4 coming out and breaking his own CLASS RECORD over 431 in a flying 24.88, the fastest run since the TRACK RECORD. Ivans dam has produced multiple GRP dogs like GNARLEY BOY, SURFIN SILENCE & GNARRALOO along city winners HEZ REGAL, WILD SILENCE & SUNA SURF. She herself beat GRP dogs like CHEEKY RENEGADE, ACE HI RUMBLE, RUNAWAY SALLY, OXLEY FAWN, ART MANN, NARRA BOY, ROYAL CONTENDER & RYLEES REWARD, she was never beaten by a GRP dog in her career. SUNA SILENCES brother EVEN A PRINCE has had one mating to date and produced two individual TRACK RECORD HOLDERS in the ill fated PARRYDISE BOY (520 BATHURST) and JACQUIS OWN (320 WAGGA). Her other sister in HELENS CHOICE has produced the 2007 SILVER COLLAR winer at DAPTO in TIGGERLONG GO that unfortunately had a career ending accident. SUNA SILENCES half sister TIGGERLONG OLIVE is a GRP1 NATIONAL FUTURITY FINALIST and has produced 2 GRP FINALIST to date in TIGGERLONG PATCH & TIGGERLONG PETAL. Her other half sister in TIGGERLONG BELL was a GRP3 finalist. Her other half sister in TIGGERLONG NOKIA has produced to date SYDNEY CUP FINALIST EBONY DEVIL This is great producing bitchline at present with GRP, CITY and TRACK RECORD producers and a very hard chasing line.
