The Cumberland syndicate was formed in 2003 with 4 members, John Brennan, Gerry Brennan, Richie Brennan and Eugene 'Ace' Mc Cluskey.
Previous race dogs include Silky's Dream (First Winner for the syndicate), Mexico (Tote Gold Cup finalist 2005 Shel Pk,beat Droopys Maldini in the 1st round of the Easter Cup 2005 28.76,Track Record Breaker 525yd hurdle 29.70 Mullingar,Winner of nearly 10k in prize money), Sierra Leone (Brood Bitch from Larry Clancy's April Damline,Winner of 48 dog stake Mullingar 3K to winner).
Currently training 3 dogs and breeding 1 litter a year. We have a bitch named British Columbia (premier fantasy x ardrahan espreso) that will be our new brood bitch in a few years when she finishes racing. We race in Mullingar, Shelbourne, Harolds Cross, Longford, Dundalk and Newbridge.
