DM Greyhounds aka Dyno-Mutt Greyhounds is a kennel of both show and performance greyhounds. We have had good success incorporating select NGA lines into our breeding program to increase the speed and the athleticism of our dogs. To that end, all of our breeding stock is screened for genetic health problems such as hip dysplasia, hypothyroidism, juvenile cataracts, pannus, etc. Rob and I have been in greyhounds for only a short time, 14 years. However, we are very proud of the accomplishments of our dogs. Not only do they look good, they perform well in the field. DM Greyhounds believes that greyhounds are bred to run, and that functionality can only be proven in a running venue--be it on the track or on the coursing field. We incorporate the philosophy that if a healthy, uninjured greyhound cannot or will not perform in a running venue, it does not get bred. Instead, it is placed as a companion in a loving home. After all, show ring wins are nice, but not at the expense of ability. We hope and try to breed worthy representatives of the breed. We seek out the toughest competition in both the field and the show ring. Our successes speak for themselves and to our dedication. May we all be worthy of the dogs we breed and keep!
