24533 videos needs to be converted from Flash Video Format to MP4 format as Flash Video Format is no longer supporting playing the videos in your browser. If you are using an older version of a browser and have stopped the automatic updates you may still be able to view the videos.

24,533 video have been identified so far and our I.T. are working on the updates.

The main years you may have trouble viewing videos is from 2003 - 2009.

Hopefully all will be updated and working in the coming weeks.

Thank you for your support and understanding.

I don't know anything about your IT crew and how they are transcoding the videos from FLV to MP4 but anyway Handbrake is a great utility to do this for free and quick/efficient. An excellent way to convert videos and completely free of charge. Others may find this useful in the interim or if they have downloaded videos and need to switch them to more contemporary formats.

Hi Jason, thanks for your help.

Our I.T. is attacking the problem in 2 ways. they have written a programme which will convert roughly 1,000 videos a day. This way the website will not slow down or fall over.

The second system they have put in place is a popup appearing which tells our members to try again in 5 minutes. Our system will then automatically convert any videos they are trying to watch within 2 minutes.

Thats a great approach to do it - on the fly conversion. For those that have downloaded and need to convert their existing media Handbrake will do the job so everyone should be covered. ;)

Hi Alan, our I.T. has got back to me. The video is big so it's taking time to load and the video frames are corrupted.

I have removed the video so another can be uploaded.
