The mating to Zambora brockie I would be a big fan of.
Your bitch is breed for speed and chase, I think some strength is needed to hopefully get her progeny that little bit more ground if possible.
The mating to brockie would bring in another cross of Bombastic Shiraz on the 3rd and 4th line, to compliment the cross your bitch carries, and this is a proven method to implement strength into progeny.
Your bitch also carries a few nice crosses of Brett lee, most prominent in litter brothers wheres Pedro and Hallucinate. Zambora brockie carries Trendy leigh, Brett lees 1/2 brother, as his grand dam sire. Another great match balancing the brothers on the 4th and 5th line.
The outcross element Brockie carries through his damsire is also a great element in play.
This brings me to another point, of giving your girl a full outcross sire, and I think she is prime for it. Outcrossing is a key way to give the damline and a bitches progeny, a chance to upgrade, and having the hope of more strength and stamina in the progeny.
I would say Supeiror panama is a great option, however your girls size, along with Panamas ability to throw monstrous pups, may not be the most viable option. However if willing to go unproven, possibly his son, JS flamin ace may be a good option. Is extremely well bred and a son of panama, but doesnt quite carry the large size panama does. Ace was a champion in America, a great race dog and very well bred, so that is an option.
You could also go a proven outcross sire such as SH avatar, Kinloch Brae, among others. Sh Avatar could be a great option, and I think if your looking to the future, Avatar bitches will indeed make very very good broods, and he, a legend damsire.
Just my 2 cents for what its worth mate. Wish you luck

I think Orson Allen is a no brainer. To bring the blood of GWT and PB in this formation from brother and sister should be gold IMO. Out of your old straws i like Goodesy. Cheers

Think about looking to outcross her to a dog that carries Which Chariot & Elsie Moss in the x path, then choose a sensible no-nonsence bitch from that outcross mating, and linebreed Velocette through different individuals with the sire of choices dam at a very high % https:/ CLICK HERE , in the hope of creating a breeding parallel to that super staying litter(Ash Flash), that Trevor Rhodes bred.

Rick , one i can't see has been thrown up is " out of range " you might get some speed back in the line with the Head Honcho / Fernando - pace and chase . You could call one " Hassall of pace " lol . There you go all sorted .

Still amazes me that some people think ancestors that are from 60 years ago / 12 generations back / make up 1/25th of the pups heritage can have a strong influence in a pedigree.

Use the sire that has the richest owner. Because the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. If the owner is rich they want success. More chance there pups wont get screwed over when they start off as they get looked after as they will apparently just throw more money into the sport. The thing i dont get is if someone loves there dogs and isnt rich or a celebrity its like the assumption is made they wont reinvest there winnings. Well if you read most online stories such and such puts so much back in to the industry....... Or is it the others dont have the funds to sling enough people or do enough favours for there rewards in the first place. Im all confused. Im with Dicks. Use your own opinion first. Unless you want favours. Call the richest stud dogs owner and tell them how amazing they are then use there dog and give a small share of pups to a sports star or celebrity and im pretty certain the x's and y's will be in the magical positions.

Dixie: when and WHY did "DNA" become mandatory with Greyhound Breeding in Australia? around 1990? (Bit of Pot luck back then)
(Could have been a question on your quizz sheet). Sorry if going of topic

A big thank you to everyone that replied.......you all make great cases for your sire choice.
hey Dixie......I ask because we can all get 'tunnel vision' and make a decision we later regret. Listening to everyone's thoughts can make you have a re-think.
In fact.......I have changed my tune on sire choices because of a few opinions here.
I'm now thinking I need an outcross to further Nerve Settler's pedigree. A sire by an import is just as good I feel.
I don't know much about Superior Panama......but am I wrong in saying his litter brother Superior Product was the better performed on the racetrack?
Either way.......I would like a son of KC and All......given Steve Martin's example

Then Orson Allen fits perfectly.

Very true Kev......however he's very early into his stud career hasn't produced anything 'special' yet. Although on paper it looks an exciting mating.
Bernardo has claims too......and is a proven producer of quality dogs from limited matings.
I rather use KC and All.....however I don't think there's any straws left ?

You're a million to one to get a KC and All straw, but Orson Allen, Bernardo, Degani, superior Panama, superior product, pat C Sabbath, Js flaming ace, Barts Outofmyway, LK's Vesper and soon enough Aston Rupee, Aston kimetto, Equalizer are all from KC and All lines and available in Australia
