I really think this guy deserves to have his own topic
His win in last nights Group 2 Shepparton Cup was outstanding.
After clipping heels on the apex of the bend that cost him a couple of lengths the dog showed tremendous determination to regather himself and drive along the rail to pass Lucky Chap and fend off the finish of Bewildering
He certainly deserved his victory as he has been a finalist in the last 4 Country Cups in Victoria
His record is phenomenal so far having 33 starts for 24 wins and 2 placings with most of wins registering as best of night performances
He is also a very versatile greyhound as he has registered these best of night wins at a variety of horseshoe tracks and also Healesville, Capalaba and also at The Meadows (29.79).
Congratulations to his owner Wayne Thomson from Qld for the win and breeding the litter that also contains the Geelong & Ballarat Cup runner up, Judicial Man and also Mick Byrne Memorial winner, Back To Business (Albion Park 30.00) as well as other good winners
Out of a Bitch that had one win up the straight from six starts.
She broke her metacarpal badly during break in, but apparently was going super quick at the time

Are there any pups on the ground from this dog yet? Hell of a race record he has.
No matings done yet but have been told vials have been purchased waiting on bitches to come on season, hopefully in the spring he will have his first lot of pups on the ground.

Hey Trent
He deserves at least 10-20 litters on the ground to at least let breeders know what his capabilities are
Yes true hopefully this spring or soon he gets a few bitches and then time will tell

WOW Jamie that's a ripper mating in that you've exposed New Tears damline again CLICK HERE (princess diro is also duplicated refer blood quota table below), maintaining the integrity of that Light of Fire niche you had with Cape Hawke CLICK HERE and Reeta's litter and moving away from that traditional LOF niche.
It is one gen futher down the damline as Gable Lafourche doesn't influence the niche but that's extremely impressive breeding!
That's twice now with two different sires, really well done, you've given that bitch a great chance to become a decent brood, and that's all any breeder can really do. The rest is up to her and in the lap of the breeding gods. Wow!

She's got two 18 month old pups from her first litter to Banjo that are humming apparently so she's worth going again. Mrs.Q giving the orders around here but I'm DQ'd so I'm legally required to ignore her......

Well Banjo with her exposes that traditional Light if Fire niche thru his sires dam CLICK HERE so no surprise there.
Zinzan Brooke is also a LOF niche but exposing New Tears damline which as you know resulted in Bear's Gold, Jacqui Blax etc.
I've put Zinzan Brooke and that LOF niche into my 'breeding bible'as a proven and viable alternative to the traditional LOF niche. Well spotted !
