Hi Daniel,

Is there certain Aussie lines that might be more suited to Jiminy Reno.

We recently took up the services of David Brasch from Pedigrees by Design to take a good look at Jiminy Reno and what he has to offer breeder's here in Australia.

JIMINY RENO - Some thoughts about him for you. His pedigree shows fabulous balances and some great line breeding. His 2nd dam USS Arlington is bred on the same Oshkosh Racey/HB's Commander cross as KB's Develyn (dam of his sire). Dam Oceania is in-bred to the littermates Oshkosh Riddle and Oshkosh Racey and they are famous in the US. This is fabulous and what made her a stud success. The daughter of HB's Commander in Jiminy Reno's sire helped balance the two SON crosses of HB's Commander in Oceania. It was a great mating. There are some fabulous opportunities to mate him to bitches in Australia, most of them via US sires who have progeny here, but it would also be my suggestion that he mate bitches from known CHASE sires... these are Barcia Bale, Dyna Lachlan, and their sire Go Wild Teddy etc. The daughter of Flying Penske in Jiminy Reno's damline is superb and lends itself to some judicious matings in Australia. He has always worked exceptionally well when duplicated, balanced, or linked with similarly bred Kiowa Sweet Trey. The fact Jiminy Reno is from the same family as Kinloch Brae means we have to mate him to bitch lines that have worked best with Kinloch. These are all stud dogs with Malawi's Prince in them... Collision, Bombastic Shiraz and Go Wild Teddy.
These are all a MUST for Jiminy Reno. One thought for you to remember. When Paul Wheeler gets a US bitch, he always puts them to his great chasing dogs. Barcia Bale is the perfect example, but so is David Bale,
(it produced Fanta Bale... but she was hugely in-bred to US bloodlines). El Grand Senor daughters are great producers, they put in great chase, and speed. And he works great with all manner of bloodlines. I believe you should be desperate to get Dyna Lachlan bitches to Jiminy Reno. He has a significant link to Jiminy Reno via the famous US broodbitch Buzz Off. This has already worked with Dyna Lachlan to produce Group star Cawbourne Whip. Dyna Lachlan's daughters are fabulous producers. He has worked sensationally with Fernando Bale (Hecton Bale, G1 Aust Cup) who is from the Gable Dodge sireline.
Barcia Bale daughters are a MUST for Jiminy Reno. Barcia Bale's son Cutting Edge has had a few bitches since retiring to stud. It will be difficult to get them for Jiminy Reno, but his daughters could be a special match. That's because he is by Barcia Bale, but his dam is by US stud great Lonesome Cry and Cutting Edge's dam also comes from the same Representation damline as Jiminy. This would also mean that daughters of Lonesome Cry (by Gable Dodge) would also suit Jiminy Reno for the same reason. There are plenty around. Also with this theme, daughters of Destini Fireball could be ideal for Jiminy. He is by Where's Pedro and his direct damline is the very same representation damline as Jiminy Reno. BUT, best of all with a mating of Jiminy Reno to daughters of Destini Fireball is that Fireball has Kiowa Sweet Trey as his damsire and positioned to hugely impact with similarly bred Flying Penske in Jiminy Reno. This is one of the very best "nicks" ever done in the US. Another reason to get daughters of Barcia Bale is Barooga Brett the multiple G1 winner whose dam is a half sister to Destini Fireball.
I would also suggest broodbitches by stud dogs with Where's Pedro in their damline (My Bro Fabio, Moreira, Nolen, Allen Deed) could suit Jiminy Reno. That's because he sired champion Destini Fireball to the same direct damline as Jiminy Reno ... the famous Representation family. Yahoo Omar His daughters will have some special crosses to be picked up with Jiminy Reno. They are both from the Gable Dodge sireline, but they also bring in famous half relations out of broodbitch great Fresh Approach. Jagger Swagger and his sire Premier Fantasy Some nice crosses with Premier Fantasy via HB's Commander, BUT the best aspect of Jagger Swagger is that he brings in Collision and Token Prince both with Malawi's Prince. Surf Lorian and Don't Knocka Him Surf Lorian had some semen go to the US a few years ago and he has produced a couple of superstars over there. Two of them are now high class stud dogs. This is because Surf Lorian has so much Brother Fox and he needs to mate bitches without any. Jiminy Reno suits ideally. Don't Knocka Him has Surf Lorian as his damsire and Don't Knocka Him is a very underrated stud dog. Fernando Bale Even though he comes from the same direct sireline, that of Gable Dodge, I'm not so sure Fernando bitches will suit Jiminy Reno as much as other lines. Fernando Bale's very best progeny have intense in-breeding to his mother Chloe Allen ... NOT the US bloodlines in his pedigree. But, Fernando Bale has sired superstar Sennachie from a daughter of Kinloch Brae. I designed the pedigree for Sennachie but it had little to do with the Kinloch Brae link to Fernando Bale.

SH Avatar
Plenty of bitches by him around Aust.
Some great crosses to be picked up here, especially via USS Arlington and Kiowa Mon Manny (sire of SH Avatar). They provide a fabulous balance of Flying Penske for any matings between Jiminy Reno and daughters of SH Avatar. And SH Avatar's dam is bred on the same Gable Dodge/Molotov cross as Jiminy.

Djay's Octane
I would be particularly keen to attract daughters of Djay's Octane to Jiminy Reno. Again, a double and balance of Flying Penske is superb here. But, Jiminy's sire and No More Secrets (2nd dam of Djay's) are bred identically. Jiminy Reno and Djay's Octane have very much in common.

KC And All
Another I believe will be superb to link with Jiminy. That's because they are bred along similar lines as well, both carrying Gable Dodge sireline, both having lots of Dutch Bahama and also a balance of Oshkosh Racey.
A sister to Orson Allen would be ideal for Jiminy because he is by KC And All from a sister to Barcia Bale.
Or a sister to Hecton Bale whose dam Searle Bale is by Dyna Lachlan and is out of Barcia Bale's mother Princess Bale.

Bella Infrared
He has been used a lot in Aust, but died in the US and more semen was unavailable. Has mated some very good damlines so this will help as well. Similarities between Jiminy and Bella Infrared are huge and include double and balance of Flying Penske, double and balance of Molotov and both are bred on a double of Fast N Loose.

Gable Dodge (in Jiminy's sireline) carries a cross of Lucky Artist. He is a brother to Miss Hilary who is found in Fortress. This has been a fabulous cross in the US, Gable Dodge with daughters of Fortress. You can pick up Fortress in Aust via Velocette, Slater, Knocka Norris.

Jiminy Reno has a had a good week this week with another 2 vials selling in Victoria.

Tomorrow another fast bitch heads to the vets for her progesterone test. She will no doubt be served by JR next week.

We still have 1 vial on offer for anyone with a bitch on season or on season soon. In exchange for 1 pup from the litter.

Jiminy Reno has the right blood for Aussie dams that are heavy with Temlee strains and a little Waverley Supreme
JR way back in pedigree is Hi There, Champion Prince. Also a little of Pigalle Wonder
and Sandman.
Aussie Iconic Sires Chief Havoc. Tumble Bug
All the Iconic sires are there also legendary dams. JR a big thumbs up from Moscow
Good luck to all that patronise him.

The third broodbitch to be inseminated overnight by Jiminy Reno the 'Black Stallion' is Queensland bred and based, Invergarry Lady.

April, as shes also known as, was a City class bitch and multiple Group finalist amassing over $35,000 in prizemoney. She is another very handy pick up to help kick start Reno's stud career here in Australia.

Best of luck to breeder Angus Toshach.

Another very well bred bitch was inseminated today down at Sires on Ice, Calga.

'Molly Nismo' is the full litter sister to the exciting speedster, Black Opium ($420k).
Sired by the great 'Black Magic Opal' and out of a proven producer in 'Captivating' this will be the 4th litter here in AUS for Jiminy Reno.
Extremely thankful to Tony & Nichole Mason for giving him a go. We wish you all the best, and cant wait to see what he'll produce.

Jiminy Reno $1650 frozen. Available in most states.

Queen Werina whelped a healthy litter of pups to Jiminy Reno. Nice litter of 7 pups consisting of 2 dogs 5 bitches.

Another litter also whelped over in the states in recent weeks by KB's Naomi. Nice size litter of 8 pups.

Invergarry Lady is due to whelp Monday, and Black Opium's litter sister Molly Nismo is due in a few weeks.

Samus Allen is the latest bitch to be mated to Jiminy Reno for breeder Brendan Wheeler. A cracking bitch who won just shy of $65000 in prizemoney. Contested the 2015 Group 1 Aust Cup and has since gone on to produce a few Group 1 finalists of her own.
