Breeders, serious consideration
If you have a brood with an outcross sire line and Bombastic Shiraz in the third or fourth generations. BINGO !
Your increase chances of success IMO of course

Thats true Darren, but if you go back further, you can see the damline has both speed and strength. A great damline. Theres no rules to breeding, its usually a gut feeling. Can anyone tell me why Fernando Bale is so good. No breeding theories, just an outcross. Is it from the dam? Probably its a proven damline. Why is he throwing on with such outstanding progeny. Is hes damline c@ clicking back with the Aussie broods. Truth is , nobody really knows. All we know is breed from him as you only improve your genetics. JMO . Cheers

ADB is showing he likes dams with plenty of Temlee
A 2x3 Bombastic Shiraz gives you a good chance

Rodney I would say yes he will go well with B Sophie
ADB proving to be versatile sire.

Hi Michael,

The brood was arguably a short courser, because of her being by Premier Fantasy over Wheres Pedro. Two early paced speed demons. With Kuro Kismet bred 3x4 Bombastic Shiraz. It arguably added strength to the pedigree. Much as I mentioned in another topic with Big Flood from a 300m bitch, but the sire Banjo Boy carried renowned strength gene Flying Penske.

As for Fernando Bale, the pedigree can most certainly be explained and Graham has touched on it. I purchased a vial of Ballymac Eske for my bitch Pennybacker to breed the strength behind not only Fernando Bales pedigree, but the great Irish dog Pestana as well. Time will tell how I go with that.

Again, I tried to buy Nicki Fields from Darren Puleio, when she was only a TAB winner on 11/2/15 at 7.48pm. The substantial 5 figure offer wasnt enough to entice him to sell. However, Darren did ask me which sire to put Nicki Fields to and I recommended Barcia Bale. Barcia Bale only had his first crop racing and Fernando Bale was still racing in 2015! Two years later In 2017 Darren put Nicki Fields to Barcia Bale and Hooked On Scotch was the result!! BTW I have all the correspondence to prove what I just said!

With the right knowledge you most certainly can put the odds in your favour to breed and race great dogs!

Many winners!

Again you only have to go back one more generation to see the obvious gem in this breeding.

Aston's have heap nicer temperaments and are nicer looking dogs on the eye

Mepungas are more outgoing (but also can be quite noisy) but probably have slightly more stamina

I much prefer Aston Dee Bee pups style

Congratulations to you Matt and your family on breeding Pedro Lee who won the G1 NZ Derby yesterday at Cambridge in a tidy 25.47 for the 457m

Thanks mate, but full credit has to go to my father on sire choice because I had my heart set on ZZB

Big Congratulations has to go to owner Greg Hore and trainer Peter Ferguson who both deserved some luck

Hi Mick
Too much Temlee blood for Graham. Damline heavily line bred to Temlee.
Nine generations eight gen are Temlee sire strains, seven consecutive Temlee sire strains directly over damline ( bottom of pedigree)

https:/ CLICK HERE
5th dam a stayer (strength) your brood was a sprinter so you have lost a fair bit of strength past four generations
ADB would like more Waverley Supreme sire strains in your pedigree, for example Regal Rocky, Rostered Off pedigrees. Both have intensity on 7th Generation by Fortress, Lauradella Fun, Waverley Supreme, Supreme Fun ALL LINED up 7th Generation. ( more than Temlee is on 7th gen) Yes the 2x3 of Bombastic is evident but the staying strength is from Hi There, Newdown Heather sireline. yes a very long way back.
I think you will get speed but not strength. Out cross is required.
Maintain Vigor is paramount in a damline. An outcross sire line directly over your damline is overdue.

Good luck Matt, sorry if my opinion is not what you wanted to hear. Just a Graham opinion
