It is looking like doubling up or crossing 3 times of a strong damline such as the gold rush bale damline, or representation for example, seems to work to a very high level. I for one am surprised that we havent seen more of a double up in some of the top damlines australia has to offer. For example Ebby Miss damline origins, one of the strongest damlines this country has seen. Outlandish, tracing back to a litter sister of the great head honcho in skyline miss, with their dam being Fitzroy lass. I believe in the future we may see these damlines, duplicated, and produced stars as the gold rush bale double up has produced

Combining Brett Lee, Trendy Leigh, Big daddy cool and Head bound seems to have a great nick in breeding today. Especially when combined in the first 3-4 generations where possible

Some nice pups emerging with the duplication of Alice Dooley/Chili Berger from Raw Ability. I think Tommy Shelby could be another sire that could make this duplication work.

This would be an interesting thread if Tesio and Rasmussen didn't highlight this phenomenon over a century ago. There is nothing new under the sun.

That's right Dixie But how many "breeders" do not know this or choose to ignore it I remember seeing someone write many years ago ... but breeding racehorses is entirely different to breeding greyhounds.
For a stud dog to be dominant it is quite easy because of the numbers he can produce and this is an obvious statement, but for a female to be dominant it is something quite different. Dominant females should always be reinforced. The task is being able to do this and position them for impact. And also making the right judgement on who are dominant females.
Have a look at the recent success of Allen Deed and how his best progeny are so in-bred to a dominant female.
