Miss Esmae wasn't right the previous run at The Meadows. Led in that race & got beaten 11.50L. The way she came back to the field tonight approaching the home turn, the others were always going to run up the back of each other. She caused a 'pile up'. Poor old Zac looked pissed off & therefore turned on Stanley Road. Race ended up being a "dogs breakfast". BUT what a "good" run from Tigerlong Tonk. Iron 'horse'.

the 2 went out on zac at the second turn going into the home corner the red was fadeing quickly back into the 5 checking the 5 who would not have won because of this then the 5 was pushed out wide after the check from the 1 jumping, onto the back legs of zac causing him to loose stride and the 5 moved to the outside of zac as he stumbled not able to get his running action going , going wide hitting the 5 and was distracted by the impact into zac the impact into the side of zac forced him to turn his head into the 5 his action was not clean and looked worse than it was
the 5.who went down and rolled into the fence [tough dog ]

I think sometimes a race is not diagnosed in enough detail and being a big race i think easy to .........

No way connections should be disappointed in zac.
Thing is to look at the vidio in slow motion after a couple of days
as we tend to come to a judgement to early.
not machines.

i think after a vet check an appeal may be on as i am sure he will be sore on back legs.
pleading guilty was under stress and the owner may be able to do the appeal.
nothing to loose.

I wonder if they have mastered this yet. I mean this was 56 years ago and all. There alot more to be found off this subject. You just have to look.
Also stop deleting it. It shows that there is something to hide. And as long as im targetted and singled out and made out by authorities to be a grub i will target them back.

Theres alot more where that came from and i can do alot worse than paste a link on GData. So F off my case corrupt government officials or ill go nuts on you pieces of crap

RUOK?

Mitchell,

The thing to consider about Ezmae is that she ran really well at WPK (41.70) three weeks ago, then travelled to Melbourne 7 days later and ran out of puff on the home turn, then had a 2 week break but still ran out of puff on the home turn at Meadows.

You might not call her a hardened stayer (yet) but she has had quite a few 700s.

The two possibilities are that she had some unknown complaint or that the 41.70 took too much out of her system and the quickish backups plus the travel reinforced those shortcomings. We know she normally pulls out all the stops as that is why she has run records over shorter trips.

All dogs are subject to these demands - some handle it better than others. Only a very detailed health check could reveal relevant information. Even so, she warranted a query.

Failing lots of blood checks we will all be guessing.

Either way, you can never be sure of how any dog will handle the 700s with a gap of only 7 days.

Won't be long away from heading across the ditch going on tonights run. Yes he won but didn't put in 'on the line' imho. He picked them up down the back well within himself. Is scary to think what he would run if he did put in. 1 of potentially the fastest dogs I have ever seen. Bloody shame really.

Surely there had to be. He jogged up to the leaders along the rail and bailed out, taking half the field with him. He didn't fight but he certainly stopped chasing. He's not a nasty dog, but he likes toying/playing with his rivals.

The caller cant even call it like it happens
Blames everyone else saying they all bunch up ??
Seriously the games a joke
That dog shouldnt be allowed to race again
Unfortunate for trainer and owner but thats life
Its affecting other runners and ruining the race clearly and costing other trainers their time theyve put into their own dogs

It got 28 days
Should be life

If he ends up in N.Z. he will bounce back to his brilliant best as they N.Z. know what motivates Hounds.

What a crying shame that Clubs and Authorities here in Oz are not fully utilising the FOL like they do in N.Z. in order to rid racing of wayward Hounds and debacles that unfortunately are now common place in Australian Greyhound racing.

28 Days is the new norm !
Why is it the new norm ?
Because so many Hounds are offending authorities can't afford to give them more time out as there would be a shortage of Hounds in the racing pool !
