Interesting he carries Head Honcho & Southern Champ in his pedigree. Another non-commercial sire also carried these ingredients and produced a freakishly fast dog - EXTERNAL LINK

Darren, I think I know that bottom line. What I have noticed not exclusively that the good one have a double up of HH ,Paris match, light of fire .and Barcia bale clicks well.

Yes you do Jack ;)

Yep, the Osti line has long been a blue-hen female line and duplicated for great success. So his dam line, gave him a good starting point. Also, a good dose of outcross blood is a big factor in Aussies success IMO.

Out of my 4 Aussies what are people views on which one could be the best .
Pup 1 by Cold twist.
Pup2 x Marlise bale.
Pups 3&4 x How ironic.
If some one could do the breeding on here would be appreciated.
Cheers jack

Pity the Pups didn't come from better Dam lines.

Geoff must have seen something in the breeding or race record to get behind Aussie Infrared. You have to admire sires who make stud careers by producing quality progeny not on hype.

Paul .. as they say, use a sire that has a) run a track record and b) won a group race .. he still holds the 390m record at Warrnambool in 21.61 and won the Maitland Cup against a really hot field - plus he was one of the hardest chasers weve ever had - had a fantastic temperament and could really run .... a brilliant dog in every way
