Brain,

Arguably too inbred, but who is to say it wouldn't or can't work - Ballydoyle Honey is a great producer, so I can see why you would look to "double up" on her.

For mine, if you are looking to line-breed, and can get hold of a straw, than this might be the way to go - EXTERNAL LINK

Brian you also get a 3x3 Brett lee. 2x2 can case some issues but if you go that way keep the best bitch , could make a very good brood bitch.you will need a good outcross sire.
Cheers Jack.

I didn't think they allowed matings like that anymore

Think its a great gamble Brian. Honey was a superstar, from a very prolific dam line. If you break up her pedigree, she carries Brett Lee, Premier Fantasy and Spiral Nikita - all proven to double up to produce great dogs.

Lady Thunder showed it can work and with your future mating carrying the above, might even produce a star brood and dam line for you.

Coorong Lucy outstanding bitch here in South Australia was bred from half brother x half sister. Rest of litter average. I believe Coorong Lucy's pups have broken in well.

Brian

Go with your instinct ! Looks great on paper. Black Parachute's few pups are 2022, the oldest Feb, so not long to wait to see if he can throw.

Just looked into the crystal ball, to see the mating of a bitch from your litter to the mega fast Gizmo Cash. His dam Down The Green is by Ballymac Eske (dam Ballymac Penske) out of Pots And Pans (sire Ballymac Maeve). And no Brett Lee.

Steve

Of course the Lady Thunder dam line has been a great dam line all the way along to this day - Tommy Shelby, Jungle Deuce, Sunset, Spitfire, Serena Fly High, Pantera Nera, Dam Slippery, Junoesque, Frisky Red etc. as well as the backbone to the Rumble Spirit, Follow Through, Farmer George, Wave To Mouse dam line.
