Dog that has come over to N.Z. called Hill Of Grace (Black Shiraz x Mozoltov) but not in g-data, born 22.7.11 is in thedogs.com.au stats.

What would a straw like that cost these days?
Just pure curiosity on my part.

I presume you mean Black Shiraz Marek. I rang his owner 6 odd years ago and he told me he had some but wouldn't sell them because BS's semen was poor quality towards the end of his stud career. I guess everything has its price and the breeder was likely a friend. So my guess would be POA.

Hi Gav,

I spoke to someone earlier this year and they were looking at $15,000 for their Spiral Nikita straw. Otherwise he was happy to use it himself.

I have a Crash vial which I'm pleased about considering how expensive Where's Pedro and Hallucinate are these days. I can't believe he STILL holds the Horsham 480m track record after all of these years.

Our family still have a BDC tucked away as well.

There was a Bombastic vial offered on this site at best offer yesterday. I'm sure that would have sold for a pretty penny.

Anyone else holding anything of note?

A couple of people I have spoken to have talked about $17,500 to $20,000 being paid for them.

Funny how many are popping up when he was bitches on season only! Or maybe it's just who you know or how well known you are.

Could be plenty of different reasons - was he always bitches on season only? Could have been bought very early on in his career, returns for misses, straws left over from bitches who failed to ovulate, etc.
