I think too much has been made of a young dog that probably shouldn't have been in that group company this early in its career anyway having a brain snap. I'm not a Fernando bale fan in any way but every breed can do it unfortunately.
One thing that has been overlooked a little bit is both the topgun sprinters and stayers had a strong outcross influence which Fernando bale being born probably helped pave the way for somewhat
Gypsy wyong is Westmead hawk (Irish) out of a KC and All mother (KC and All/from gable dodge line like Kelso fusilier) EXTERNAL LINK
Aston Rupee admittedly like Gypsy wyong has a very good damline, but he's sired by KC and All EXTERNAL LINK
I'm not big on Fernando Bale but he's definitely helped soften peoples opinions on American sires
Agree Matt
Which is all Ive said the whole time , but a few US sires did have the jump on Fernandos success Bella infrared , Kc and Avatar
Anyone with a zip of knowledge is all of them can be wanting for honest chase but Theres a reason why they run for 200 starts in homeland It happens when your only trying in 30 of them ? You will not beat Aust sires for hard chase and I refuse to listen to crap from a lesser then novice level moron
Tell the whole story or let others finish it if you cant due to lack off
Ps Only thing Ive learnt from Dick is he can count from 1 to 5

Hard to disagree with that. Not that there's that many outstanding chase sires currently but Aussie lines produce the best chasers followed by Irish lines then American
A next generation sire has to emerge but not that long ago if you had a magic sprite, el Grand Senor or Barcia bale dog you were pretty confident they were gonna try their best. Hopefully a couple of Barcia bale sons can go on with the early indications they're gonna produce chase

I'm out of the game to be honest. I'm just an interested observer now. Had some success over the years, but that was decades ago. I'm thoroughly enjoying watching the succeses of FB. Which is the the title of this topic.

And you're right. Kinloch brae, sh avatar, Bella infrared and KC and All (as well as a couple of failures) probably were about before Fernando bale emerged, but Fernando bale somehow made American sires "popular"

Point taken, I've gone off topic (mentioning last night's winners breeding was relevant but rest wasn't)
Fernando Bales best progeny seems to be when they're bred back to Fernando Bales damline. Which probably isn't helping his reputation at all because double Primo Uno is a very popular cross

OK back on topic. Ipswich Cup to this overblown, overhyped, flaw riddled sire.

A great sire in my opinion is 1 who can throw a K9 as good a quality as himself & that's a tall order here but he has done that in WOW who is a paternal genetic identical to him + don't forget Tommy Shelby. So he's done that & that says volumes for his ability to throw pups that inherit his natural ability as he just keeps producing age classic & group quality K9s. Nothing to prove ! Results say it all folks.

It's all good Worthy. You know you got it all wrong saying what you did all those pages pages ago. It's OK to be wrong and made to look foolish. It's character building champ. ;-)

It sure is dicksy. You sound like one hell of a character. You beat me. Your the best. By the way all my friends give me Worthy, what do your friends give you, Dicksy or just dicks. Keep it up. Worthless is a good one if youre looking for something derogatory but I dont think youll have to many problems finding something. Cheers

Great win. Fantastic bitch out of a fantastic dam line. This dam line continues to throw group chasers and lets not forget Fernando as he continues on his merry way. Cheers

But you forgot to mention the Odds On favourite daughter of FB in the Bold Trease got beaten into 3rd. Let's not focus on his positive traits. Let's pin point that some of his sons don't have descended testicles and his bitches aren't as good as his sons.

Congratulations to Koblenz and the Geall family who continue to produce feature and Group class dogs for many years from this wonderful dam line. Wheres Demonica has produced top class offspring to Fernando, Premier Fantasy, Westmead Osprey and now her daughters are also producing with UHJ also having a litter to Barcia which may also turn heads shortly. Floodgate has opened. Cheers
