Does anyone like that mating?

Hi robert i looked at smart missile with your female ?

Can't fault that suggestion!

Only reason I thought of Sulzanti is that Magic Sprite is always recommended.

Hopefully will be getting some tests on the dog in a couple of weeks.
If all is good will take it from there, the interest I have received has been pretty encouraging.
Very long road ahead but I think he deserves a chance.
29:34 at his second start ( sandown)and shared BON with the king Fernando .
And the 29:09 (sandown)on slow track when only just 2year old, is enough to say he was very fast and had lengths of improvement left.

Really ?
I rated the track 2.5 lens fast. How did you justify the track as slow ?
Roughly how slow did you think it was ?

29.34 was the second fastest time of the night ( in an earlier race)
He was in race 8.
Trainers informed me the track wasn't fast.
Sorry Ryan, you will be one of only a few which will bag the time.
Good luck.
Side note: his litter sister is having her first start tonight at Lismore
Good luck guys!!!

Ben and Ryan I would like to weigh into this debate with some hard figures on times.

In my opinion that track was even that night for times given the following:

The second dog Alpha Zeus ran 29.65 with a largely unimpeded run small check first corner. He confirmed that time on the 13/11/15 racing the same style and unimpeded in the run but was up in weight .4 kg and ran 29.76.

Benzo Bale the last race winner same night ran 29.53 when 33.6kg
raced exactly the same way last thursday when 33.6 kg first time in ages at that weight and ran 29.47.

Dyna Tiber that night ran a career best at sdn of 29.32 and that equates to what he ran at meadows saturday breaking 30 sec as on my rating times for a night race 30.2 at mea equals 29.6 sdn.

THe best marketing advice for stud I can give for salzanti is he runs exactly the same time as Dyna Double One does of 18.61 to the back at Sandown when unimpeded. Fernando is another level almost unseen at 18.41 sec for a 500m dog.

Hope this helps.

I'm not bagging the time or the dog Ben, so not at all intending my comments to be personal.

Any dog that has run around 29.30 or better as Sulzanti has, on more than one occasion is pretty special, however if you are going to claim the track as being slow..........I mean how slow ? The track record is 28.96 - you'd be saying he was close to the Sandown t/r or better.

I had 6 other dogs running between 2 and 3 lens faster than they've ever run in town on that night, therefore I labelled the track 2.5 lens fast. Trainers estimations of 'the track wasn't fast' after merely looking at the track, in no way should be translated to mean the track was slow.

Once again he was a top dog, and not at all saying he wldn't have improved as you say he was very young, but the time is what it is in comparison to others on the night. After all times are the essence of dog racing as we all know, so it's extremely important we all get them right.

Hope he does well at stud for you,he was a top dog.

I believe he would have broken the track rec in the new year.
I'm going to need all the luck in the world to with his stud career that's for sure.

Ben I have absolutely no doubt this dog will make it at stud if afforded the chance.

Damline is sensational, magic sprite is proving his standing not to mention both he and his best sun now stand overseas.

Abiliyy was unreal. Fast track or not 29.09 after such few starts is crazy good.

You need a few breeders to see in him what I think I can see and hope you get the right bitches.

Even 30 in 12 months would give him a chance.

Good on you for considering options. Shame he didn't have another 10 starts but I guess it is what it is.

Best Andrew

After lots of thought and consideration I have decided to stand Sulzanti ( sparky ) at stud.
There was enough interest around for him to be given a chance.
Most of us know his best was yet to come.
In these trying times in our sport I hope people will give him a chance like myself.
Tough road ahead but I believe he will throw no doubt.

Why don't you try to place him with a Studmaster that serves bitches Natural or AI,might help him a bit more in the cut throat stud market.
