Thank you Paul.

Not the first (Playlist Vic Peters) but certainly the first Aussie bitch to do so .

Well done to the Daillys in having the foresight to use Aussie in the early stages of his stud career .

Very much looking forward to seeing Lala Kiwi and Zipping Krygios in the Easter Egg at Wenty fingers crossed both massive chances .

AUSSIE PERFORMANCE UPDATE - 2022 YEAR TO DATE

PRIZEMONEY -

Aussie has cemented his spot in the TOP 10 stud dogs by prizemoney, currently 5th in ranking, with just the 155 individual runners, much much less runners then other top 10 sires EXTERNAL LINK
STRIKE RATES - REFLECT PACE & CHASE

Second highest strike rate of the top 10 sires at an exceptional 19%

EXTERNAL LINK
Second highest strike rate of top 10 sires for metropolitan racing at an exceptional 19%

EXTERNAL LINK
We have also tested Aussies 2018 & 2019 data by individual pups to race and by individual pups to win (divided by total pups born), and compared to random samples for the great sires Barcia Bale , Fernando Bale, Aston Dee Bee and Zambora Brockie, and found his percentages are equal to or in some cases better then these great sires.

GROUP RACING -

Notwithstanding having far fewer pups born than nearly all top 10 sires, Aussie is sitting 6th on GCA Group rankings EXTERNAL LINK . (this ranking excludes the Dubbo Country Classic, as it is not a listed event)

Aussie continues to produce GROUP and feature race performers including the prestigious GROUP ONE AUSTRALIAN CUP win of Lala Kiwi along with the Group wins of Zipping Krygios (Gosford, Blacktop, Dubbo).

This demonstrates that producing the likes of Catch the Thief , Ebby Infrared and Playlist in his first season, was no fluke. There are also currently some very promising young pups who have started racing, or about to start racing.

FERTILITY- Aussies AVERAGE pups born per litter continues to be strong at 7.33 pups per litter, in line with his average since being at stud. Again this is in line or better then the great sires of our time . His pregnancy / insemination rate is also very high at 92% (with nearly every miss to date directly attributable to matters outside control).

There have been 38 inseminations with pups due this year so far, meaning Aussie is on track for his biggest year yet (65 litters last year) .

PRICE - Current stud price frozen semen $3,300 (note price is currently under review). Vials are available for girls on season, or anticipated to be on season shortly. Comparing our price to the top 10 sires, he is remarkably good value for money.

Some observations . Re Aussie x Barcia / Dyna Tron

As we now move into pups starting to race from a higher volume of broods to Aussie (up until now we only have seen small numbers from his first two years breeding but this is now ramping up from a larger third year ) there is certainly a pattern of success emerging from mixing Aussie with Barcia Bale lines and Vice versa .

Yesterday we saw Fire Hose (dam by Barcia) win very impressively on debut at Bendigo (free for all time in a hot
Maiden series ) . We have of course already seen the successful careers of litter brothers Catch The Thief (now at stud) and Playlist (dam by Barcia).

The dams of Promising WA pup Elite Machine (Pats Lass) and Australian Cup winner Lala kiwi , are by Dyna Tron, who comes from the same dam line as Barcia .

There are some reports of some fast break ins currently , again by a Barcia bitch.

When Barcia was put over Aussies half sister Suffragette, Devine Empress has emerged as a potential superstar . When Barcia went over Utah Miss (also Aussies half sister) , Group class Utah Blues and other fast race dogs also emerged.

Theres definitely seems to be a pattern here with mixing Barcia / Dyna Tron x Aussie lines.

The success of Aussie certainly isnt restricted to these (Zipping Krygios is by a Dont Knocka Him dam, Ebby Infrared is from a Lonesome Cry dam and etc ) but it should give anyone with a Barcia / Dyna Tron dam some extra confidence when considering Aussie as their sire of choice .
