To all owners and trainers of greyhounds racing at Mullingar during the new January Covid lockdown please be aware of the new procedures that are in place. It is imperative that all these measures are strictly adhered to in order to maintain Greyhound racing continues
Please please do not concregrate in the car park at anytime as this is a major breach of portocol and could jeopardise the continuation of greyhound racing being allowed to continue. Please stay in your cars once you have weighed in your dog and await your race I can't stress this enough.

It was with great shock and sadness that we woke to the news this morning of the very sad passing of our esteemed colleague and track cameraman Thomas McLoughlin affectionately known to us all as Tommy.
Tommy has been the cameraman in Mullingar for well over a decade having taken over the mantle from his late father Deano one that he took huge pride in none more so than when Mullingar started recently showing the live picture via RPGTV.
Tommy will be remembered for his pride and professionalism behind the camera at both Longford and Mullingar tracks and his bubbly sense of humour, cheeky smile and wink for everyone and the talk on the top of the steps about his beloved Tottenham Hotspurs.
On behalf of all Mullingar GOBA , patrons, owners, trainers and his wide wide circle of friends in the greyhound world we express our deepest sympathies to the Mcloughlin family and his children at this extremely sad time.
As a mark of respect this weekends racing at Mullingar track has been cancelled.
