like I said a few weeks ago this dog is very lucky to be racing the boys have done a fantastic job to get back to the track.this dog with a little bit of luck will win the derby in my opinion he has come back better than ever.i can not wait for him to go to stud his breeding is second to none and his will to win well what can I say he would run through a brick wall that's how hard a chaser this dog is if you want the best breeding and chase this is the dog to use.

Ritza Lenny's early start to his stud career seems to be going somewhat unnoticed but his stats are comparable if not better than a lot of the more talked about freshman sires. Overall a winning strikerate of 26% and 59% place.
They also seem to be running 500m+ notching up a winning double last night at Wentworth Park with Ritza Tommy breaking the 30sec mark.
He has a Metropolitan winning strikerate of 30% and 57% placings.

Luke fair enough Ritza Lenny is doing ok at stud but if it weren't for top bitches such as Ritza Hattie etc then he wouldn't have done well at stud , Ritza Tommy has a very bright future ahead of him but he too is out of a top bitch in Ritza Millie , Dams of talented dogs deserve a mention / most credit IMO

Lenny is doing better than ok and all Sires need numbers and decent Bitches for them to succeed at stud !!!!!
Hattie and Millie good Bitches alright but there are some no where near as good that have thrown winners to him.

Fair enough that's your opinion but the only good Ritza Lenny pups I've seen racing are out of top bitches

As many know not all good race bitches throw on Ritza Hattie's only class offspring was Ritza Millie and Millie is a maiden matron so i would say Lenny is having a strong influence on these offspring. The Gatt's have put their hands in their pockets and backed their stud dog to give him the best chance to succeed so i say congratulations.

Thats right , they could have easily put their best broods to the top 3 or 4 sires like everyone else, but as Luke has stated, they backed their dog and their rewards are well deserved

Its a lot more than what many others do to get their dog going at stud

Now they have a competitive & commercial stud dog

Ritza Hattie & Ritza Millie were super talented on the race track & The Gatts are blessed to have those bitches but unfortunately not everyone has bitches like them to breed with , they could be put to Poodles & still produce talented pups.

Not necessarily.

Purely and simply they had the guts to put top flight bitches to their unproven stud dog.

How did they know they were going to get good results from it. Both parents were unproven.

It doesn't matter who the studmaster or the stud dog is.

The real issue is having the guts to back your dog.

They did. Others don't. Its' pretty simple really.

Mark sorry to burst your bubble but I never knocked King Fernando Bale , all I stated in the past was that he served Australia's best bitches which he did & most breeders followed by going to The King , in regards to Ritza Lenny all I did was say what I've observed during his stud career thus far & have followed him closely as I'm a big fan of his Damline

ROFLMAO no you didn't knock Fernando you just gave all the credit for his outstanding success to all those great Bitches that went too him, and like wise with Lenny you are giving all the credit too Hattie and Millie, you have got to be joking !!!!!
