Sorry to Hijack this thread a bit further but can someone explain the significance or point me to a thread that does about 18.8% of Brett Lee and why thats the magic number?

Ive got a side picked out for a bitch of mine and its coincidentally 18.8.

Hi Joe, its basically a 3x4 cross to a sire or dam.
Firstly think of a 3x3 cross, which on the third line of breeding gives
you 1/8th(or 12.5%) ((as 8 names there)) plus 1/8th so 25% the same.
The 4th line is 6.25% so 3x4 is 12.5 plus 6.25 =18.75
Which they round up here on the breeding charts to 18.8%
In Zipping Garths case his sire Zulu Zeus is 2x3 to Brett Lee
and his dam, Zipping Abby, has no Brett Lee so basically any pup Zulu Zeus
throws to a bitch with no Brett Lee will be 18.8%
Its not rocket science as its probably the most common of crosses
Anyway hope it helps you
And back to the thread, seems a pretty special dog!

I think a fair price would range between $1500 & $1000 Andrew.

--------------------------------------------------------------

I've always had a theory that my brood-bitches suit certain types of damlines & I'm not scared to use a new kid on the block.
The EL GALO damline was one of them & I got results.
MILLDEAN PANTHER also & he worked superbly too.
The CREDIBILITY damline is another & I've just used his best son again, JUST THE BEST.
The "SPANISH DANCE" damline is one of those also and Zipping Garth (who was a freak in the making, IMO) contains SD 3 times.....IN "X", which is what I'm looking for & does me.

My bitch is due early next year & I was going to use my last FS, Big Daddy Cool on her.............But Zipping Garth has moved right up there and is now sitting on the front line. ---> CLICK HERE

Hi Jimmy.
Plenty to like about it but I wouldn't like to entertain a double cross of GWT that close with this damline as it may produce short-courses imo.
I've built the strength up now without losing any of the early-pace and I wouldn't want to jeopardise that.
In saying that if I had a GWT bitch out of the "Midnight" damline, it wouldn't bother me.
Cheers mate ;-)

Fair point, you have done extremly well to get your damline's speed out to 500m, kudos to you.
