Daughters of Fernando Bale MUST be an option for Feral Franky
That's because Franky's dam has already had a wonderful litter by him.

My only concern with that theory is that Fernando Bitches are generally on the small side and
Feral is no Goliath !!!!!

Ray,

As per the GRV site Feral Franky has at least ten litters on the ground, this figure may well be higher but certain whelping figures need to be confirmed/updated.

For the record his oldest pups listed are 5 1/2 months old.

Why wouldn't you rate him?

He is a great race dog and both brothers still unproven at stud at this time.

I would 4/5 times Use him over The Feral. Only reason being they both won in fast times and they both trialled similarly fast times. And although The Feral was amazingly field smart i would rather be up in front outta trouble. Had they both been broodies though i would probably do the opposite. It probably makes no sense really and its all luck but thats my thoughts.

I have been told that a litter out west are abslolutely magnificent types, apparently even though only 6 mths old they are more like pups of 9 mth old, leggy, long & great muscle tone thru their backs & very advanced.
I for one wouldn't hesitate using him for a sire or buy pups sired by him,he was a tenacious & super strong race dog,& his field & track sense was amazing to watch, traits he will pass on to his progeny for sure.
I also believe that natural mating is also available now.

If Franky & Harada were in a match race over 500,Harada would no doubt lead Franky to the post the the first time, but Mitchell,Franky would give him start & go straight past him down the home straight,he wasn't exactly a slouch to the post the first time either, but 2 strides past the post the first time,Franky would really hit the after burners & accelerate & plotting how to get thru, around, under & past his combatants.
A truly remarkable intelligent & super strong greyhound.

Its only an opinion Daryl. But i have heard of some of Haradas trial times and think WTF. Im sure The Feral was very similar. Haradas MDC win in 29.34 though really cements the sort of things he could do. Alot of finals never go as fast as semis. That time though would put him about 5th fastest at Wenty i think. The Feral has had chances where he has got through clear and never went that fast. Anyways as i said just an opinion.

I do think Franky will throw his share of jets though. I was just saying who i would pick of the 2.
There is no right or wrong at this stage. Just debate.

Yeah Mitchell, you are right, just individual opinions & views
mate,GOH was a quick dog.no doubt about that,& i do believe that he will certainly have his share of success & influence at stud,& i wouldn't dare tell people not to use him,I'm not that foolish, because they can all make us look silly...look what happened to another of my "Boom " dogs in last week's Sydney Cup race, now his once impending promising stud career must be in doubt, thankfully Franky was rock solid.
Cheers mate.
