Incredible chasing and track sense. Like a fine wine he's getting better with age.

Congratulations Steve, so happy for you and the family.

A fine wine alright, a classic vintage now. What a real race dog he is. An absolute pleasure to watch.

Tommy Shelby throws back to Malawi's Prince. And we know how successful he was especially with producing good dam lines.

The peoples dog is 1 of the most tenacious chasers you will ever see & his race record speaks for itself. Has a nice pedigree & should prove popular with breeders & be successful at stud considering if he throws his dominant racing traits into his progeny. They Should stand him at stud cheap to get plenty of pups on the ground cos he's earnt a millions $ in p/money already & pups on the ground is what its all about in my opinion.

Just as I thought Tommy now announced at stud for $2750. Should get his fair share of bitches. Hard, classy chaser who has earnt over $1 million.

I'm pretty sure Mean Bean never won the Easter Egg. But he was before my time, so he may have

It was the National Derby that Mean Bean won from Box 8. His brother Go Wild Teddy ran 2nd from Box 1.

I'm a bit sad to see this wonderful dog retire, I've loved watching him race. Tenacious and super constant in top company, just what you want from a race dog and prime traits for a future sire.

They looked after Tommy & retired him with his best interests at heart. He had nothing left to prove on the track. Should prove popular at stud due to his super hard chasing traits & ability to clock time on every track he raced at against the top shelf.

Hi all,

Has anyone with bitches from the Alice Dooley-Tifi line used Tommy yet? Thoughts?

Hi Pete,
Our Tommy Shelby x Maya Herrera pups are 9 months now, can't fault them to this point. All pretty outgoing and are a bit fiery without being stupid.
Fingers crossed they can run when the time comes.
