TD Holly Cairns was called an ignorant little girl. Clare TD Joe Carey apologized for his remarks. Holly Cairns and her party have strongly opposed increases to funding for Irish greyhound racing and have called on the Government to phase out state support for the sector. She is also advocating for the end of greyhound racing. The remarks made on Twitter was the latter part of last year. He foolishly put out there on media what most of us in the greyhound industry would be thinking. So Bernard I think your remark was a bit harsh.
