Caught my eye this week that Bathurst could only garnish 8 races. Have raced at the track in the past and always found the surface to be prepared well. Even though the track is very tight.

Sadly I think the knee jerk reaction to this weeks nominations culminated over issues arising over the prior two week period. Any trainer who respects and cares about the welfare of his dogs will not subject them to shabby lure driving.

two weeks in a row and three races became subject to the call of hold all tickets. Sadly in this sport though, any attempt raising a concern is met with protection from local trainers and even track staff.

It's not a good look. Especially when a lure is being driven under the nose of a dog that has priors for non perusal of the arm. Come on Bathurst club. You are better than that. Address the issues and fix the problem.

The industry does not need to be subjected to, or need to have it's pants pulled down with 2 million viewers on Sky Racing hearing the words "hold all tickets at Bathurst".

Another issue could be that the cafeteria wasn't open last Monday Rod,the ONLY FOOD available was a bbq that had two options, sausage or steak sandwiches...but there were onions & sauce if you wished.

But I was asked by one person who opted for the " Steak" sandwich,if I need a "old wallet",LOL!!,But seriously,it was disgraceful, there wasn't even hot beverages until well into the meeting !!!,Owners & Trainers deserve far far better...so 8 races without full fields this week is hardly suprising.

Bathurst need to pull their fing..hands out,I won't, actually i will, mention that a stir up that was conducted was a " Claytons" job,the lure was simply driven from the 600 boxes, past the kennels stir up area,& stopped in position for the 500 mtr race,un frigin believable!!!.

Need i say more.

I here all the things you are raising. When you drive hours on end not all trainers pack food or drinks. Many trainers are willing to spend the travel money on food and drinks. The week I raced there, it was hot and the wind picked up and from the 600m boxes to at least the 500m boxes when the irrigation was turned on prior to race 7 that part of the track was not even watered due to the wind, yet neither the curator nor the stewards notice this.

It's never good to bag a track and it's staff but sadly Bathurst has slipped, it was not like this when I last raced their 12 months ago. the lure driving has been suspicious at best. It's not a good look.

Yeah it is Sandro....& the track was a bit "slushy" on top imo.
Oh how I wish we could get Lithgow back for Tab meets, but alas I can't see that happening.

Lithgow should join forces with the club across the road , The Workers

They should also extend the track 10mtr , so they have a soccer field inside the track

Youll have club with a grandstand that overlooks not only its local football ground but a race track that clearly surpasses Bathurst and equals that of Richmond and Wenty

The western region would be finally rewarded and justified as driving back to this region at 1-3am in the morning is ludicrous dangerous and zero welfare for both trainer and dogs

Industry like always , needs to wake up and wipe the grubs out of the game and reward the ones who deserve it !

But it wont , carry on ..... nothing to see here and its all under gwic nose and own backyard !

Disgraceful

Ps . Richmond should have added a 1 turn track around the outside of existing
Not more 300 mtr racing !
The 1 turn track should have had city prize money and youd have melb dogs coming to nsw not the other way round !

Goulburn will have its straight track , is this not enough ?

Well done in Grafton and congrats !

Appalling decisions everywhere else and zero common sense or foresight
