Clonmel immediate Problems Resolved Thanks to Tom Smith and his Loyal Supporters.

Good news for the future racing at Clonmel, thanks to the lobbying of Ministers and TDs by the Real IGOBF and Tipperary GOBA (the official group) lead by Tom Smith. Clonmel has just signed a 25yr commercial lease and the 2 nights racing per week is going to return.
The IGOBF will continue to fight for the future of all greyhound tracks.

Well done to all involved so glad to see Clonmel has risen from the ashes. It would have been a sin to see it close.

11th May 2021

The Cork Greyhound Owners and Breeders Association would like to formally thank and congratulate both Tom Smith, his loyal supporters and The IGOBF for their Trojan and strategic work lobbying Ministers and Tds, securing against all odds a new 25year commercial lease, and the return to 2 night racing at Clonmel stadium. This indeed is a remarkable achievement , which will benefit local and national greyhound owners breeders trainers & enthusiasts , those determined efforts and success ought to be acknowledged and applauded by all.

Tom smith is no longer a member of the Tipperary GOBA, tom Smith resigned a few years ago as treasurer. there is only one Tipperary GOBA and he has nothing to do with it. Dave is stirring it up again, nothing for a year and then tries to come on and make false statements as per usual. But hey, if an opportunity arises, may as well try and save face for all the damage caused by the GLC.
