What's that phrase ..."Form is temporary but class is permanent!". I think it encapsuates the dog pretty well.

Great run for sure, but I don't think beating a bunch of handy country dogs is a turning point in his career. He's a Group 1 class dog.

Didn't stop him from breaking the record.

I'll be the first to admit I'm not a Wow fan (was good to see Matics shut some people up though), but the field was better than handy country dogs.
2nd had run 29.54 at wenty 3rd had run 29.52 at wenty 4th had run 29.62 at wenty 5th is very handy 6th had run 29.64 at wenty
1 win at Goulburn doesn't rebuild his career, but credit when it's due, the field he beat would all be running at wenty if it wasn't for covid

Exactly.
That jump out of the boxes at Goulburn, gets him to the lead at the first turn at any track. Isnt that what we want in our kennels? Congratulations to connections.

Great dog, with a deadset ripper name.
The dog doesn't possess early speed and needs luck in running. His last few run he hasn't got that luck, nothing more nothing less.
Um, yes he does... they just had to find it.

Let's see how he goes in the red hot fields he should be racing against. One swallow doesn't make a summer.
I'll be cheering harder than anyone if he does, I love this dog.

In a six month period up to April this year, WOW had about 14 starts for 11 wins and 3 seconds. A large majority of those occasions, he was close to the lead.... if not in the lead from the first section, but he doesnt jump you write. He raced NG in that period. They dont jump in front all of the time.
Yes, Markus. He now holds two track records, on one-turn and two-turn tracks. Keep an eye on this fella over the next few months.
He got the `job' done last night on a two turn track in quick time. I think that he is more comfortable on a bigger track i.e. a one turn track.
Anyway, kerching. $1.55 favourite.
I thought his run was outstanding considering the buffeting he received at the first turn
However, track record was broken by young gun, Bandit Ned, in 29.38 on the same night

Well he's won 21 races & went to Victoria a while back & beat the best in Oz 1st start at The Meadows off box 5 winning the group 1 Temlee so he's pretty good. His box manners have been a tad sketchy for a couple of runs last few which was a bit out of character but he's got more wins left in him yet. I think his connections are just mixing his tracks lately to keep him keen. Just my opinions.

Racing on these provincial tracks and picking up a few Track Records will loom good on his Stud Dog CV.
