Igb have introduced 5 charge for kids entry to stadium. Could anyone explain why sneaky charge like this introduced.no other sport charges minors to attend. It's another barrier to promoting young people to get involved in greyhounds. Racing office stated its charge for contact tracing which makes no sense as I'm their parent and have paid my admisssion fee why charge then for contact tracing kids. Also don't see facility online site to click for minors. Students/OAPS yes and general admission.
Anyone have a greater insight on who best to highlight this issue with

Ah come on Donal, After all, we do need to introduce our youth to our great sport.
Charging them to come in would be counter productive. I doubt very much if the GRI IGB would do that.
I have always been of the view that we should have free nights to entice people into our tracks, but what do I know.

It's never happened in NSW, Australia and hopefully it never will. They just have to be accompanied by an adult.
I used to pull on someone's trousers and ask could I get in with him. That was at the trots and dogs.
Hey David PR dept stated that restricted to 100 people due to gov directive on covid. Children all count as part 100 limit. Therefore can't facilitate free entry for kids when their operating with restricted attendance.
