Haven't decided on the exact sire but it'll be something from KC and All lines. Broodie is from Barcia bale bloodline which is already a well proven cross (Orson Allen, Dr Tucker, Aston rupee)

As well as broodie has ability but injuries played a part in her career, needs a outcross

Im putting Mr Pupparazzi to Gone By Noon for main reason they are both my dogs but also Pupparazzi was great chasing dog and you cant put enough chase into the breed

Agree, chase is so important, especially these days!

Awesome we have some not so commercial matings, but already see two breeders on the same line of thinking...

Im putting Just A Diva x Midnight Monarch to replicate Beast Unleashed using my own newly registered stud dog.A sister to a Still Blue to the fastest dog in his litter should give him a chance at stud.He was rated the fastest straight track dog in the country but won on all shaped tracks and raced the best in Victoria. He never won a grade 5 was always put in higher graded races. His chase and temperament are priceless.Im putting my money where my mouth is.

Hi Tony, see if we can get the Ice Cream Story success with the Fernando Bale / My Bro Fabio cross to start with. Papi Go Fast, Lakeview Walter and Epic Hero suggest its worth doing...

Fernando Bale x Frieda Las Vegas

The cross can be seen in...

Initially Grigorieva Bale

Then Tritt Tritt

https:/ CLICK HERE

And now Ice Cream Story

The litter sister Hopeful Lash is going to Orson Allen to try replicate last years Irish Derby winner Newinn Taylor...at the same time reinforcing the existing FLV / HL pedigree. Plus the cross has already worked in part with 1/2 brother Merchant Navy going well.

Good luck Darren.

She will definitely compliment any sire you choose to use.
Hoping the resulting pups make F.B. look even better than
he already is.

Apart from your take on ICS Darren, I think you're a real chance of creating a breeding parallel to superstar Droopy's Scholes due to the highly intense relationship between between FB's dam Chloe Allen and D/Scholes' sire Top Honcho https:/ CLICK HERE . The cross duplication covers 15 of the 16 lines (94%) in the 5th gen (if you check the blood quota table), of Top Honcho's pedigree only exposing TH's damline therefore allowing that niche to breathe.

The question is, will linebreeding an Irish dog/litter in this manner have success in Aus with the vast racing differences between the 2 countries. There have been a couple of Irish racers that have also raced quite well here in Aus but none I have encountered have become exceptional from a times perspective.

Hopefully the niche will click for you and being reared here may make all the difference. Reintroducing Top Honcho to this damline again through different individuals is a great get. Cheers.

Epic Hero supports your thinking somewhat Ryan...

https:/ CLICK HERE

Top Homcho was a big reason for my interest in Droopys Hope to start with. He set Droopys Hope up well and of course is in direct relation to Droopys Scholes coming about. With that in mind...agree duplicating Top Honcho is well on my radar. Heres a couple were playing around with and contemplating into the future. Having the sister gives us more options to play with!

Would love to get a Black Magic Opal vial

Agree, when reintroducing Top Honcho thru BMO's dam Awesome Opal into D/Scholes damline creates another 94% cross duplication(if you chk the blood quota table), in the 5th gen https:/ CLICK HERE

Epic Hero Is a little different in that it's a different damline, yet there's a massive 97% cross duplication between College Tina and Larkhill Jo within 6 gens and an extremely high 94% cross duplication between those two in the 5th gen https:/ CLICK HERE both still allowing that niche to breathe.

Altho not a direct damline intensity and what I'd refer to as more a front page intensity, it's still extremely high.

Interesting that you like both the Fernando Bale and Black Magic Opal matings based on the high %....I can honestly say, I take no notice of Greyhound Datas red / purple colouring nor the percentages. I look for specific genes.

I like to find blood thats proven over generations to work. e.g even though the FB / MBF cross that produced Ice Cream Story is to the glance unproven...Grigorieva Bale and then Tritt Tritt would have given you the confidence to do the mating. I reckon its that sort of in-depth knowledge that sees the likes of Wheeler and Hallinan happy to use unproven studs and generally for success. Because, their breeding knowledge of what works is superior to most. After all, no computer programs back 20+ years ago.

For instance you get everyone bagging Djays Octane in this country, but Wheeler produces Group class stayer Alera Bale. These guys do it plenty of times...succeed where others fail. Love the way Wheeler bred Alera Bale...how does she come out on the 90+%?

Not knocking you in anyway, just curious, how did you come to the conclusion about the 90+%.? Is there a list youve compiled of champs to match those numbers?

Always open to others ideas!

My percentages have nothing to do with data's percentages.

If you look at the 5th gen of that last Top Honcho/Awesome Opal niche https:/ CLICK HERE , there are 16 dogs in the 5th gen of Top Honchos ped. 15 of them have been cross duplicated(i.e. on both sides of the ped). You will need to look at the blood quota table below the testmating to check them off.

15 divided by 16 = 94% Only touch of Ireland hasn't been cross duplicated.

Yes, I have pages and pages of these relationships. This is Tesio's meaning of linebreeding, i.e. with different individuals through a damline to recreate or reintroduce a sire that was previously successful with that line.

P.S. College Tina/Larkhill Jo https:/ CLICK HERE may be easier to see. Only that line thru Dunaly in the 5th gen is not cross duplicated. Once again 15 of of 16 dogs are cross duplicated, so 94%.

Didnt Tesio walk a horse down the street and it fell in love with a stallion coming the other way and champions were the resulted from the initially unintended mating
