Hi What do track vets class as an unsafe temperature for racing. We are hearing dont walk on hot sand on beach, dont walk your dog on hot ground, so what is the health and safety threshold for racing greyhounds. I'm in UK but I think it would be so useful to hear from a wider audience as to how this is managed.

i raced at young on this particularly hot day and the vet there scratched the dog weighing in in front of me because the dogs temp was 40.1 degrees i asked her whats the limit she said under 40
