Such a travesty to lose one of three remaining flaps. Especially when its the corrupt gbgb thats apparently taking it over. Bookies run greyhound racing not the gbgb and thats a fact.

The above link does not work for me but found this one is OK
With Mildenhall and Oxford both allegedly re-opening by the end of the year it would appear that the GBGB with soon have more tracks than they have had for a while.

They must also have a big magic wand to make trainers and dogs reappear. Trainers don`t take a break when tracks close they quit altogether.

Hi Glen - hope you are well
3 new, but 4 will have to go - as you say no magic wand and trainers retiring all the time - onbiously Henlow will go (Shawfield gone months ago, just not official), Swindon,Perry Barr(but are increasing win/run to decent levels from 1st Sept as know they are in trouble if dont) - so where are the other 2 closures coming from? - Harlow? Yarmouth? - Maybe Pelaw and trainers shuffle about? - sadly fact
I love the Valley, been a couple of Dozen times with a flapping runner, it is indeed sad news, however for the locals its a chance to at least keep a track, even if not all will be able to comply with some crazy ott kennel rules etc.
Sadly sport on its knees in UK, but at least still some tracks open, even if many currently very shoer of trainers/dogs
