SOLAR PAK certainly is a very valuable broodie-Good Odds Harada/Feral Franky etc to Collision & Miss Ezmae etc through Zagatti when she went to Fernando. Anyone know if she has any more litters coming through.

Litter brother Little Burrito wins maiden at Gunnedah in 24.48. The run is .03 outside the track record. How do I know this? Our dog ran 2nd 7.5 len in arrears.

Ray,
According to the race caller, it was in fact "new" electrically timed track record.
The official electrically timed record was 24.58, set by Casual Glance, on the 10th of December, 2020
The stated track record time of 24.43 was actually hand-timed (clock malfuction), run by Muzza Keeping (as a Maiden), on 04/08/2019, and thus being hand-timed, is not, or cannot be recognised as an official record, (so they say?).
Record or not - 24.48 is shifting!

Hi David
That's interesting. I didn't get to listen to the comments after the event as we were racing at Goulburn around the same time as the Gunnedah race. I wonder if the time listed as the record 24.43 will remain.

Ray,
Looking on "thedogs" website at Gunnedah track records, they now have Little Burrito's time of 24.48 listed as the record.
For those who are unawre, Solar Pak sadly passed away last month (August).

Looking forward to seeing this girl go around in the Topgun Stayers in a few weeks. I've got no doubt she will measure up.

Chris OBrien mating mogambo to Tifi which produced solar pak took this line to a whole new level. The mogambo factor has to be recognised , such a great broodsire

Enormous win.
Hopefully the experts will come on soon to tell us why she's so good.
