Sunburnt Highway's sires dam Leprechaun Pace has a very high 88% relationship within 5 gens with Awesome Assassin https:/ CLICK HERE and an extremely high 97% relationship with Awesome Assassin within 7 gens.
So he may suit a broodie where Awesome Assassin has had huge success with her damline as he reintroduces Awesome Assassin at extremely high percentages creating vigour through different individuals back into that same damline.
He has a well positioned outcross in his sires sire line not in x adding balance to future pedigrees.
Also hopefully pass on his longevity to the breed.
Hope they stand him, especially with some selective broodies for his sake.

It has been a great effort Tony He might not be the fastest dog in the country He may not be a grp 1 winner He ain't trained by the best But I'll say no other dog will ever get close to winning 32 wpk wins ever or on any city track in Australia ever

Bessy Boo has 34 wins I believe
Either way, it is a testament to his tenacity and durability and also the great care given by his trainers

Sunburnt highway wins win number 33 at wpk over the 520m last night Great work by all involved from breeding him to training him Such a iron dog and I doubt any dog will get close to winning 33 again over 520m at wpk

At his 100th start at Wenty he hauled in Bessy Boo to win his 34th race there and now holds the record in his own right
Doesn't look finished yet
Congratulations to the connections for the care they give this dog to get this great achievement

Sandro, he's now drawn level with Bessy Boo with 34 WP wins. Needs one more to hold the record outright.

Big congratulations to sunburnt highway on becoming the only greyhound to win 35 wins at wpk He now holds the most wins outright A great effort by all involved from Garry Cluse On breeding him N the Richardson's for training him It's going to be a very long time before any greyhound gets close to winning 35 wpk wins

I don't think you need to win the Million Dollar Chase or an Easter Egg to be hailed a champion.
In my eyes Sunburnt Highway can now be hailed a Champion.

I agree Tony Most times winning them races are luck n most times it's not the best or fastest dogs win them type of races But to win 35 over 520m at wpk is a top effort

I would talk to John at Dapto and his knowledge was endless...I would say unorthodox but always his love for the breed and unquestionable devotion has now produced an outstanding training effort...as said...no Egg or equivalent in the dogs resume but a record for the ages that isn't finished yet...still running time...CONGRATS to team RICHARDSON...
