If you ever get the chance to chat to Tony, 10 minutes with him would the the equivalent of a year of forum conversations. He is one the nicest bloke in the game, always up for a chat and is a font of knowledge. I have to admit I was disappointed when a recent feature race at Albion Park was named after Tony Brett. No disrespect to TB, but after nearly half a century as Queensland's top trainer and deadset top bloke I would have given TZ the honour.

Yes Dixie TZ is a true Gentleman and top trainer. Very happy since went sent the Roo up to him. Tony always gives me the confidence to have a betting crack. Cheers, Jack.
He is a great bloke. I wish I knew him years earlier.
He has forgotten more about greyhound training than what most people have ever known

Think Tony Brett got a consolation of the Brissy Cup named after him as the reigning trainer. As Orchestrate got the other consolation. Next year will be this years winner and trainer.
Agree though a race in TZs honour is long overdue. An absolute master and meticulous conditioner of a greyhound and true a really nice bloke!!

Tony Zammit is not only a top bloke and great trainer he has helped greyhound racing and all he has met throughout his career. I remember many years ago being so proud to be invited to go to the races with Tony and his wife and given the opportunity to draw on his knowledge.
A true greyhound man through and through and as stated before one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
