gavin is 100 percent correct !! all work should be done at home not just before a race , if your rubbing down at the traps its not going to make up for the rub downs there missed at home

I was wondering Mark, if they are allowed to put coats on their dogs in winter when kennelling? And if they are allowed to put "Insulation Coats" on their dogs, like we are allowed to do before races on winter nights? It's all about best practices and Animal welfare!

(No Mark, not in Bruce's areas of expertise)

Most kennelling houses / sheds / buildings at tracks have reverse cycle air conditioning, but i think (surely) youd be allowed to have them on your dogs if you thought it necessary.

I believe in warming up my dogs before the race. Thats different to having a dog fit enough to race on the day / night.
