Im wondering why it isnt mandatory to get the dog warm on a walking machine prior to a race?
Any athlete nowdays does it.

when we take dogs from the kennels we give the muscles a light rub with SHARPS green rub, down their back and 2 shoulders also on back muscles. Then a quick rub with a towel.

organized by skillnet John Kohnke and Des Fegan. Both are Australian vets with a huge pedigree in Greyhound Care.
COME ON THEN SKILLNETT ANY ON GOT A NOMBER FOR THEM SO I CAN GET IN CONTACT AS I DO VIDEO AT MY LOCAL TRACK I WOULD BE WILLING TO ORGANISE SOME THING WITH THEM SO IT WOULD BE BENEFICAL TO ALL
you dont see ian reilly, ginger mc gee, owen mc kenna etc rubbing or stretching dogs before races,it dont make any diference, just get them out and keep em walking thats it,you can put a dog off by making such a fuss before going to traps, all they want to do is get on with the job,if they are good enough they will win,any rubbing or stretching should be done at home its too late when you get too the track, thats just people getting nervous before a race
