Need feed back and input for a Team Quiz, before the old quiz was random and hard work for those sourcing and presenting suitable questions
To kick off I suggest 3 or 4 teams, each team has a captain plus two team mates. (3) A Referee / Adjudicator ( I nominate Mr Paul Dicks ) Questions: each correct answer is 3 points plus an extra bonus point for all three correct answers Questions day - Mon, Wed, Fri Each team takes turns in presenting questions . Example Mon Team A present questions Wed Team B . Fri Team C . Questions release midday EST with answers no later than 24 hours. This will allow our Irish members to compete Questions with answers send to Referee by Private messages prior. Referee can reject or request question be re worded Ref will post questions A total of 12 question days with the leading team the winners. If a tie then a sudden death question to finalise the winners.
The old quiz was fun but difficult to run. If you think this is a good idea and would like to play Please put your name and Aust state Or country Grey Masters I request 3 team captains please So David, Sandro, Mark, Darren, Kevin, Steve, Malcom ( current Quiz Champ) Michael, Ryan, Doug, Tom, James Etc etc If not Team captain then a different role maybe score keeper, assistant referee. have a go. Remember its fun and knowledge, good for all

Sue Burley (RIP) and I used to run those tipping comps on here a decade or so ago. They were huge fun and incredibly popular.
Funnily enough I was going to suggest a Quiz also. Purely for selfish reasons. I'm going on "Hard Quiz" on the ABC TV later this year my "Specialist Topic" is going to be Greyhounds. I wanted to bone up on my general greyhound knowledge.

We need 9 players including 3 Team Captains We now have Paul Dicks going to ABC quiz show. Lets support him please. Paul will be referee which will sharpen his knowledge, good preparation for TV later this year. Referee receives questions and answers prior from teams, ref approval of questions then ref posts questions. Nine Names please. Tony, Andrew, Matt etc give it a go.
