Dear friends,
we are very happy to announce that on Saturday the 11th of December 18 greyhounds and 2 lurchers landed on their forever sofas in Italy.

We'd like to thank everyone involved in this.
And especially:
- our adopters, we couldn't do our job without them

- our home checkers and all our volunteers

- our vet Dr. Angelo Anselmi

- everyone at the Agriturismo Calcaterra in Ozzero (Milan), who fed us and were delighted to host our Christmas lunch which saw 120 human guests and almost as many doggy guests celebrating all together! The greyhounds behaved impeccably!

- Hannah and her team (Cottage Rescue), Mark and Francesca (The Greyhound Hut) Sheena and her team (CAW) and the trainers and owners (Philip, Joe&Pamela, Pat&Pauline, Tom, Denise) for sending their greyhounds, they were all in GREAT SHAPE. We also would like to thank you for having assessed them so accurately, the profiles were spot on, and this makes our job so much easier!!!

- the IGB for their financial support

A SPECIAL THANK YOU to Dominic and his team, the dogs arrived in amazing condition, despite the severe weather and the horrible state of the roads!

As always all this was possible only thanks to great team work and cooperation!

We'd like to thank all of you, and wish you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, with plenty of lovely new homes!

Your eGn Team

Sorry for delay in replying to this but am having computer problems and only have a loan of one until I get my own sorted ..... never a dull moment ....

Thanks so much to Francesca and all at EGN for the great homes you got for our lot as usual :o) Also to Dominic & Tony for getting them there happy & healthy :)

Also have to say thanks to Hannah who very kindly took my gang in for 2 days before the transport due to me not being able to bring them the day they were leaving .... no doubt she slept well the night they all left ;o))

Heres to more loving homes being found in 2011 as I've already a queue of greys and lurchers waiting .... no rest for the wicked ;o)
