.UPDATE as of 23-09 2022 all pups now racing and winning at central park one four seven looks to be the better pup at the moment closely followed by old man cook and hazelwood magic all are a2 at the moment and not 2 years old yet. no litter bred this year i bought 3 dog pups at 4 months old to keep me busy,i liked the look of the bitch line they are out of over limit x avongate robyn , robyn is out of (droopys sydney) x (coolavanny spice) spice threw mainly open class so im hoping her daughter does to,the pups are out of the stud dog (over limit) seems to throw strong types and the 3 pups i have here are 35kg 34 kg 33 kg at 10 months old i hope they dont get much bigger.i shall bring them in to the kennel next month to get used to being handled and on the lead before going to knocklong at 12months old.UPDATE as of 13-01-2023 slowing down the breeding i have 3 x 6 month old pups in the field 2 x magical bales and 1 broadstrand bono, the 2 magical bales are sold .the 3 over limit saplings i had 2 went to france as pets for a arab who has a chateu on 10 acres and wanted 2 untried youngsters,who was i to argue he paid over the price so off they went,i have 1 left here which is sold and i am schooling at the moment looks to be very good on his handslips and once out of the traps.my old brood precious colleen still here i have her kennelled with the over limit pup keeping him in order lol.update as of 25-07-2023.the pup i had here (jamies boy ) gone to the uk to race had a few races here and broke the 29 secs so a nice pup, he looks to be open class with a bit of luck,3 saplings i have here are in the kennel and on the lead all schooling well and improving with every slip, pup (1) 3 slips 13.00 11.10 10.76 pup (2) 12.15 10.88 10.75 pup (3) 11.10 10.60.10.20 so all coming forward.i have a bitch in to get her ready for being mated no sign yet but trainer said should be in season around july-aug they want her mated and sent back to uk for a british bred litter, i have the broadstrand bono pup to sell yet, i shall give him a couple of trials out of traps before putting a price on him.update as of 14-08-23 put my broadstrand bono pup ( 13 months old) in traps for the first time at knocklong schooling track and what a pleasant surprise 5.87 sect 18.90 not to many pups break 19 secs first time out of the traps there i have had 3 and all ended up winning opens word soon gets around i have been offered 2k but i shall give him another couple of trials before putting a price on him.UPDATE as of 29-08-23 my broadstrand bono pup having his second trial out of traps at knocklong done 18.34 i was happy how he came forward but liam the track owner told me i have a superstar on my hands,he said his middle sectional was 12.91 and he said no pup has done that this year and to put him away till at least xmas so thats what i am doing.
UPDATE as of 10-11-2023 broadstrand bono pup now sold i have probaly sold him to cheap but i dont race only rear and school, the new owner asked me to give him a 525 at cork he done 28.87 his first at 525 and at 16 months old confirmed what i knew that he is a real good pup. UPDATE as of 4-12-23 broadstrand bono pup had a sprint trial at cork did 17.76 a flying run for a pup i told the owner i wont give him another trial as i am worried he will get injured he is that fast, he will be going to the uk before xmas i think he is going straight into the monmore puppy derby that starts in feb.
