WINDROCK LLC is a small home establishment producing some of the best show/performance/companion greyhounds in the USA. We are one of the top breeders/owners/handlers of multi-talented greyhounds and have more than 400 champions to our credit. We are recognized by the AKC as the only Platinum level Breeders of Merit of Greyhounds and we are also distinguished as AKC Breeders of Heart.

We owned and exhibited the all-time top AKC Champion sire and #1 greyhound in 1996 & 1997, Ch Shazam's The Journey Begins JC,"Bubba", to 7 BIS and 6 SBIS, a record achievement! "Bubba's" son, our Ch Greystone's Barcelona was #1 Greyhound dog in 2001 & 2002 and won 5 BIS and 2 SBIS and 1 HIT. We have earned the distinction of having shown our greyhounds to more BIS wins than any other non-professional handler in this country. We had the #1 greyhound in Canada in 2014, 2016 and 2017, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

SBIS Am GCH/BISCanGCH/Int Ch Windrock She's Tough Enough just won a BIS in Canada in May of 2019 and was the #1 Greyhound before we brought her home to have a 2020 litter.

Our greyhounds reign supreme on the coursing field. WINDROCK greyhounds are well-known and highly regarded for their speed, tenacity and endurance. WINDROCK has bred more greyhound AKC Dual Champions than anyone! We have bred many AKC and ASFA Field Champions and have the unrivaled distinction of having bred and owned 3 AKC National Field Trial Champions and 4 Grand National Best In Field winners in addition to having multiple #1 ranked dogs in AKC and ASFA lure coursing. Most recently, MBIF FC Windrock Wild Irish Rose won overall top honors for greyhounds at the AKC National Lure Coursing Championship in 2021 AND 2022, and also was AKC's #1 greyhound for 2021!. BIF Windrock Fly Like An Eagle Fch won the 2023 Grand National!

We have been actively involved in raising top show/performance campaigners and beautiful and long lived, healthy companions for over four decades. We are best known for our WINDROCK line of show and field Champions; however, we are equally as proud of the numerous pets, 4-H prospects, service dogs, therapy dogs and emotional support dogs that enrich the lives of so many people.

Our breeding objective is to produce the perfect companion-- beautiful, healthy, long-lived greyhounds that have a sweet gentle character. That said, we embrace the fact that the greyhound was bred to run, and that true ability can only be proven by actual performance--either on the coursing field or in pursuit of live game. Show ring wins are wonderful, but never at the expense of ability. Form must follow function. Which is why of our champion breeding stock is fully health tested and must have sterling records of performance and have sweet, loving temperaments. Generations of our breeding are now reaching advanced ages of 15 plus years!

Occasionally, WINDROCK LLC will have pups and/or started youngsters available to approved homes. We have retired champions available on a limited basis. Dogs are placed on written contract, and we offer long term health guarantees with life-time mentoring. We have many satisfied clients and are glad to provide references. We have happy puppies and happy people!
