No Bones are to be used for training Greyhounds .

Bones are for cleaning teeth only.

So now we have no Dead rabbits and no use of bones other than to clean your dogs teeth .

To this day many people in the USA break pups in on a bone so what have we got left to use now poor old Teddy B Bear.

I am told this will soon be stopped because of the amount of kids now traumatised from witnessing their beloved Teddy getting ripped apart by Greyhounds .

Stop the rot join your local GOTBA after 12 months you can MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT ....

How would the authorities know if the bone was used for cleaning or not, this is simply silly, maybe they will require a note from the vet.

""Dear Steward XYZ dog needs a bone every day due to bad teeth decay, please do not confiscate his bone, I hereby give authority to XYZ dog to have possession of said bone, please call with any questions..regards Dr Dolittle""

Then a note in the treatment book will need to be made,

Monday - administered shin bone, due to cavity on lower right molar...signed DR Dolittle
Tuesday - administered uncooked chicken wing due to discolouration of teeth - signed DR Dolittle
Wednesday - administered lamb flap bone , due to upper molar slight colouration- signed Dr Dolittle
Thursday - Administered tripe and bacon bone - due to bad breath - signed Dr Dolittle.

As long as you don't throw them you should be ok.
I wonder how an arrest or banning for encouraging a dog to chase after a bone would stand up in court.

This is getting beyond a joke - it is dogism. Lol. I Think we'd have a good case in court. Every mongrel on earth gets a bone. All dogs are trained for reward. Greyhound owners of Australia can take a class action on behalf of their dogs. They are being discriminated against. If greyhounds can't be trained on bones then no farmer, police and security, guide and companion, obedience and conformation and mut dog can have a bone. It's cruelty at the worst to deny a dog a bone and if greys are to be persecuted then it's a discrimination court case. I can't believe I'm writing such crap but I suppose crap begets crap.

It's ok for eating.

Not ok for chasing.

How do you stop the wolf pack instinct that has been bred into every dog over thousands of years?

In the wild, what does a dog or any animal do before it can eat something?

It doesn't come in a stainless steel bowl

What's all this tripe about? (Yes, I know that tripe is organic and can't be used to train a dog to chase).

Where did this bone stuff originate?

Have the people making up this drivel even ever owned a dog? Even a chihuaua? The absence of basic canine behavioral knowlege is unbelievable.

Better ban all chew toys and blankets that have wool in them.

Cos we wouldn't want pups socialising and playing by tearing a blanket to shreds! The horror!

Minds like ours. If all this wasn't so sad it would be funny. If the antis had their way we would have to import bones.
