Do you have questions regarding the health of your greyhound? Do you need tips what you should feed your dog? Or do you need advice in curing an injury?
I have a male -9,5 months. In the last 2 weeks I saw a difficulty in his walk. Went to a vet for a radiography and nothing wrong. What can I do? Anyone has this problem? Thank you!

Get an animal/dog chiropractor to check his lower back and pelvic area. If he has a mis-alignment in this area, nerves may be pinched, which could be causing this problem. A good chiropractor can easily fix this, and it is not an uncommon problem. Also get his groins, hips, and triangle muscles checked. A sore,strained or torn muscle in these areas will also cause a problem with his gait. Check for any swelling/lump around his knees, in case he has knocked one of his stifles and has damaged the tibial crest area. This can happen in a growing puppy. Also check his feet well to see if he has a possible problem there. Good luck.

Thank you! I flexed him legs now and it aches. I'll make a new radiography.

I would not advise doing any maneuvres on you're dog if you don't have vet education. You could harm the dog. Since nobody here could give you pertinent diagnose as we cannot see and assess you're dog I would advice you take the dog to a experienced in greyhound issues vet. Don't go to chiropractors, that is not evidence based medicine EXTERNAL LINK Only a vet could tell what is the problem and if the dog needs more investigations like xray, mri etc.... Good luck.

I agree totally with Carole brown, see a muscle man, manipulator who can put things back in place. Pups can throw out their backs with running & crashing into each other. As for vets, I have yet to find one that can put a back into place.let us know how you get on with your pup.

Hello! now the boy is fine. the problem was because of some calcium pills that so far had a good result for the other dogs I have. he did not receive this supplement very well. as a simple information for everyone, I have noticed this problem because when eating alternately raise the back legs, that meant they were hurt. now he has returned to the shape he had before and everything is fine, shortly the racing preparation begins. thank you very much everybody!
