| | The Moyne Kennels near Thurles in Co. Tipperary, Ireland were established in the spring of 1997. As a small greyhound breeding kennel, having sent over 2 top class race bitches in 1996 from the U.K. to be mated to Irish Sires. The resultant litters to Super Hoffman and Come on Ranger were born in the summer/autumn of 1996, their early life spent in Co. Kilkenny. The following six years have seen the growth of our kennels to 8 broods, several retired dogs and bitches and, at any one time, up to thirty five pups and saplings. We have 2 in house Stud Dogs in Tulla Blackie and the yet untried Noirs Jo, and Moyne Rebel with Stud keeper John J. Touhy in nearby Cabra Thurles. During this period of time we have also bought in pups, saplings and race dogs for either our own use or on behalf of other owners in the U.K. This enterprise has been relatively successful due to astute purchasing from local owners/breeders. Best regards, Michael Wray and Jane Holmes, Moyne kennels www.moynekennels.com
